Calvin Harris - North America Tour

Calvin Harris's North America Tour is an electronic music concert at Oakland Arena in Oakland, featuring the Scottish DJ and producer behind a long run of dance-floor singles.

Calvin Harris is a Scottish DJ and producer whose albums I Created Disco (2007), Ready for the Weekend (2009) and 18 Months (2012) built a catalog of house, dance and pop-leaning productions. The singles "We Found Love" and "This Is What You Came For," both with Rihanna, and the solo hit "Summer" from the album Motion (2014) brought this electronic sound to mainstream radio. Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 (2017) later leaned further into funk, disco and R&B textures.

This North America Tour brings the electronic repertoire of Calvin Harris to Oakland Arena, a venue in Oakland that hosts concerts and shows. The project is built around studio-made dance music, so the music on this tour sits in the same electronic dance territory as those albums and singles.

The night suits listeners who follow dance music and the hits named above. Those new to the project can hear its range by starting with Motion or Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, which show the contrast between club-oriented tracks and more groove-based material.
