Cann Presents — Yacht Rock Revue

A concert by Yacht Rock Revue, presented by Cann at Steinmetz Hall in Orlando. The act's name points to yacht rock, a soft rock style of the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Yacht Rock Revue takes its name from yacht rock, a soft rock style that developed in Southern California in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Its smooth vocal harmonies and polished studio arrangements are associated with artists such as Michael McDonald, Toto and Hall & Oates. The music is classed as pop, rock and indie.

Steinmetz Hall hosts concerts and shows in Orlando, and this concert is presented by Cann. The night suits listeners who follow 1970s and 1980s soft rock and the harmony-driven pop of that era. Many of the songs that defined yacht rock came from that period, so the style suits anyone familiar with its radio hits.
