Carpenters Legacy

A tribute act devoted to the music of the Carpenters, performing in Las Vegas at the V Theater at Planet Hollywood. Carpenters Legacy is a tribute, not the original group.

Carpenters Legacy is a tribute act devoted to the music of the Carpenters, the American group led by siblings Karen and Richard Carpenter, active from 1969 to 1983. The original group's best-known songs include Close to You, We've Only Just Begun, Top of the World and Yesterday Once More, and its sound blended pop with soft rock and easy-listening arrangements. This project is a tribute and is not the original act.

The musical styles of this show are pop, rock and indie, which places the Carpenters'catalogue within a broader pop and rock frame for audiences who grew up with those hits or are discovering them now.

The performance takes place at the V Theater at Planet Hollywood, inside the Miracle Mile Mall in Las Vegas, a venue that hosts concerts and shows. It suits listeners who want to hear the Carpenters'hits performed live by a tribute act, and fans of 1970s pop looking for an evening built around that repertoire.
