deadmau5 is the project of a Canadian electronic music producer and DJ, working mainly in progressive house and electro. Its best-known track is Strobe, and that recording is a natural starting point for anyone new to the catalog.

On this date, deadmau5 performs at Reframe Studios Indoors, a Los Angeles venue that hosts concerts and shows. The name of the room points to an indoor setting, and the evening suits listeners who follow electronic dance music, the genre the project is built on.

For a first encounter with the project, the progressive house and electro styles give the evening a clear focus, and the artist's name anchors the bill. Visitors who want to hear the work of a Canadian producer in a Los Angeles room dedicated to live shows will find the program centered on that single act.
