Overview

Dear San Francisco is a circus and magic show that treats the city itself as its subject. Acrobatic routines, spoken word, original music and movement are combined into one production that moves through San Francisco's past, from the Gold Rush to the technology boom of recent decades.

On stage, the performance relies on daring acrobatic stunts, with poetry and original music accompanying the movement. The show is framed as a love letter to the city, so its tone is one of celebration and reflection on how San Francisco has changed over time rather than a conventional plot.

The show takes place at Club Fugazi, a San Francisco venue that hosts exhibitions and cultural events. Audiences interested in circus arts and magic, or in seeing the city portrayed through performance, will find the production a direct match for that interest.
