Discovering King Tut's Tomb

The exhibition presents ancient Egypt through recreations of burial treasures, including a death mask and golden nested coffins. A virtual reality segment takes visitors back to 1922, when the tomb was discovered, and lets them explore forgotten artifacts from the period. Visitors can also follow the path of Howard Carter, the archaeologist who uncovered Tutankhamun's tomb.

The displays cover the rituals of mummification, the gods of ancient Egypt, and the legacy of Tutankhamun, known as the Boy King. An audio guide narrated in Carter's voice accompanies the walk through the rooms, which are on the atrium level of the hotel.
