Eelke Kleijn

An electronic music evening in Los Angeles that pairs Dutch DJ and producer Eelke Kleijn with Italian-American composer and keyboardist Suzanne Ciani, presented at ORIGIN.

Eelke Kleijn is a Dutch electronic dance music DJ and producer, born in Rotterdam in 1983 and active since 2003. The debut album, Naturally Artificial, was released in 2007 on Spinnin'Records, and the project's work sits within the electronic dance music tradition.

Suzanne Ciani is an Italian-American composer and keyboardist working in electronic music. Born in 1946 in Indiana, United States, Ciani has been active since 1974 and has released music on RCA Records. The bill places a DJ and producer from the dance music scene beside a composer whose career has centered on electronic sound, so listeners drawn to either side of that range will find a common thread.

ORIGIN hosts concerts and shows in Los Angeles. The evening suits anyone interested in electronic music, whether through dance floor production or through the synthesizer-based composition that Ciani has pursued since the 1970s.
