Emma Ruth Rundle

Emma Ruth Rundle, an American singer active in ambient music since 2008, performs at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn, with Cinder Well, the project of songwriter Amelia Baker, on the same bill.

Emma Ruth Rundle is an American singer born in 1983 in Los Angeles. Active in ambient music since 2008, she released her first album, Electric Guitar One, in 2011. This concert presents material from These Killing Times, her record that follows Engine of Hell from 2021. Written as a hopeful work, it acknowledges pain while turning toward community and resilience, and its songs combine defiance with the tenderness and vulnerability of her earlier work.

Cinder Well is the musical project of Amelia Baker, a songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles. Its compositions are dark, rich and tender, drawing on traditional musical languages while moving away from them.

The show takes place at Saint Vitus, a venue in Brooklyn that hosts concerts and shows. It suits listeners who follow ambient and songwriter-driven music and want to hear a new album's songs performed live by the artist who wrote them.
