Florida Blue Battle of the Bands

Florida Blue Battle of the Bands is a competition evening in which several bands take turns on stage at Kia Center in Orlando. It is a contest format, so the program is built around the performances of the competing groups.

A battle of the bands puts several groups in head-to-head performances, with the audience and the event's judges deciding the outcome. This Florida Blue edition is presented at Kia Center, and the title points to a line-up of competing bands rather than a single headline act, so each group's set is the core of the night.

Kia Center is an arena in downtown Orlando and the home court of the Orlando Magic basketball team. The venue also hosts exhibitions and cultural events, and its calendar ranges from sports to concerts and shows.

The evening suits anyone who wants to hear several bands in one sitting and follow a live contest between them. It is a fitting choice for listeners interested in local and emerging groups, and for anyone curious how different bands approach the same stage on the same night.
