George Clanton is an American musician born in 1988 and active since 2008. The project's first album, 100% Electronica, was released in 2015, and the music is built on synthesizers, sampled textures and nostalgic melodies. Clanton's work is often discussed alongside the chillwave and vaporwave scenes of the early 2010s, and that lineage shows in its slowed-down, retro-tinged sound.

The show brings this electronic act to The Abbey - Orlando, a venue that hosts concerts and shows in Orlando. The evening suits listeners interested in synth-based electronic music and in artists who draw on the sounds of earlier decades.
