Golden Hour Featuring An Evening of Jazz with Brian Citro

Golden Hour, presented as An Evening of Jazz with Brian Citro, is a jazz concert with Brian Citro as the artist credited on the bill. It takes place at the Café Bar of Epiphany Center for the Arts in Chicago.

Jazz grew out of African American musical traditions in New Orleans in the early twentieth century, and improvisation and swing rhythm remain at the core of the form. This evening places the genre at the center of the program, with Brian Citro as the artist credited on the bill and Golden Hour as the title of the night.

The concert is held at the Café Bar of Epiphany Center for the Arts, a venue that hosts concerts and shows in Chicago. The setting is a café bar inside an arts center, which makes it a practical choice for a jazz evening within a broader night out in the city.

Listeners who follow jazz will find a single-artist evening built around one musical voice, presented in a venue whose regular programming includes live music and theater.
