Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a stage production presented at the Lyric Theatre in New York, a fantasy play continuing the story of the Harry Potter series.

The production follows Harry Potter, now an adult and a father, as he faces a tense family conflict with his son Albus, a story that revisits the magical world of the original books with new characters and plot lines. It is a theater show, performed on stage with a focus on dramatic storytelling, illusion and staging built around the fantasy setting.

In the auditorium, expect a large-scale staged production rather than a concert or a lecture, with scene changes and special effects central to the experience. The show is a theatrical performance for a general audience, and the story draws on familiar characters from the books, though it is written for the stage and stands on its own.

The Lyric Theatre hosts concerts and shows in New York, and this production is one of several theater offerings presented there. The show suits fans of the Harry Potter series as well as theatergoers looking for a fantasy play in New York.
