Insomniac presents I Hate Models

An electronic night in Los Angeles presented by Insomniac, featuring French producer and DJ I Hate Models, whose work centers on hardtechno. The evening is built on live DJ performance.

I Hate Models is the stage name of a French producer and DJ whose work centers on hardtechno. The artist works across studio production and live DJ sets, so the night is built on electronic DJ performance rather than a band format.

The evening is presented by Insomniac and takes place at City Market, a Los Angeles venue that hosts concerts and shows. The program suits listeners who follow hardtechno and club-oriented electronic music, as well as those curious about the style.

Hardtechno is a fast, heavy strand of techno, marked by hard kick drums and driving tempos. Its tracks are designed for continuous, high-energy listening, which makes a DJ set the natural format for the genre.
