JEFF the Brotherhood

Jeff the Brotherhood, an art project started by brothers in Nashville, Tennessee, returns with a tour that revisits its first two albums, with a stop at Songbyrd in Washington, D.C.

Jeff the Brotherhood grew out of an art project begun in 2002 by brothers Jake and Jamin Orrall in a basement in Nashville, Tennessee. Their music draws on krautrock, jazz, black metal and avant-garde experimentation, and the project began with a simple principle: making whatever they wanted, without rules or boundaries.

This Washington date falls on a tour that marks the group's return after several years away. The set centers on songs from the first two albums, Heavy Days and We Are the Champions, so listeners familiar with the early catalog will hear the material that launched the project.

Songbyrd is a venue in Washington, D.C. that hosts concerts and shows. The evening suits listeners interested in genre-crossing, experimental rock who want to hear the band's earliest records performed live.
