Jon B. is an American R&B singer born in Providence in 1974. Active since 1994, the artist released the debut album Bonafide in 1995 on the MNRK Music Group label, which marked the start of a recording career built on smooth, vocal-led R&B. The music also draws on soul, funk, gospel and reggae, so the repertoire covers a broad range of styles.

House of Blues New Orleans is a concert and performance venue at 225 Decatur Street, in New Orleans. The show suits listeners who follow contemporary R&B and soul, and anyone interested in how those genres connect with funk, gospel and reggae.

For a first listen, Bonafide is the album that introduced Jon B. as a recording artist, and it is the natural starting point for understanding the sound the singer brings to a live audience.
