Landroid

Landroid is a synthpop project from Landers, California, performing at Kilowatt in San Francisco. Fake Your Own Death is also on the bill.

Landroid comes from Landers, a town in the Mojave Desert. Cooper Gillespie and Greg Gordon lead the project, with Gordon also handling drums and electronic production, and Nigel Roman has recently joined on guitar. Their music sets synthpop against shoegaze, dreamwave and noir-tinged psychedelia, and listeners have compared them to Beach House, Still Corners and Cannons.

Their 2026 album, Constellation, is built around fragments of memory that seem to play out across several timelines. Live, Gillespie's airy vocals and basslines sit alongside Gordon's drums and Roman's atmospheric guitar, and the songs are developed into a dense wall of sound. SPIN featured the band in 2026, describing its sound as fuzzed-out dreampop with a sci-fi synth line.

The concert takes place at Kilowatt, a San Francisco venue that hosts concerts and shows. Fake Your Own Death also appears on the bill.
