Lita Ford

Lita Ford is a rock guitarist and singer who first gained attention as a member of the Runaways, the all-female band formed in Los Angeles in 1975. After the group disbanded in 1979, Ford started a solo career in the 1980s, releasing the album Lita in 1988, which included the single Kiss Me Deadly. Her duet with Ozzy Osbourne on Close My Eyes Forever is one of the best-known recordings associated with her name.

The concert takes place at The Showroom at the Golden Nugget, a Las Vegas venue that hosts concerts and shows. The night suits listeners who follow the guitar-driven rock of the 1970s and 1980s and want to hear a performer connected to the Runaways'legacy in person.

The genre given for this concert is pop, rock and indie, and Ford's catalog sits mainly within rock, so the program draws on the solo work and the band years that shaped her career.
