Madeon (Live) with Anamanaguchi

Madeon presents Victory Live with Anamanaguchi, a concert in Washington at Echostage, pairing the French electronic producer's nu-disco, pop and electro house with a band rooted in chiptune.

Madeon is a French electronic music producer from Nantes, working in nu-disco, pop and electro house. Active since 2009, Madeon has built the project around these genres within the electronic music scene, and this show is presented under the Victory name. Anamanaguchi, the band appearing with Madeon, draws on chiptune, the sound of vintage video-game hardware, and combines it with rock songwriting.

The evening suits listeners who follow electronic dance music and pop-oriented productions, and who want to hear a producer-led project alongside a band with a chiptune background. The two acts share an electronic foundation, although their approaches to sound differ.

Echostage is a Washington venue that hosts concerts and shows, and this event is part of its programming in the city.
