Overview
Matt Friend performs a stand-up comedy show at The Block at Harrah's Philadelphia in Chester, a venue that hosts concerts and shows.
Matt Friend performs stand-up comedy, a live format in which a comedian speaks directly to the audience and builds the humor through observation, storytelling and timing. The show belongs to the comedy genre, so it suits anyone looking for an evening of spoken humor rather than music or theatrical drama.
The performance takes place at The Block at Harrah's Philadelphia, a venue in Chester, southwest of Philadelphia, which hosts concerts and shows. Matt Friend is the performer named for this show, so the evening is built around a single comedian's live material. As with stand-up in general, the audience's reactions influence the pacing of the material.
