Nightshift After Hours

An electronic night billed as Nightshift After Hours, presented at The Lexington in Los Angeles. The act's name gives the title of the concert.

Nightshift After Hours is an electronic act, and this concert is presented under its name. Electronic music is built largely on synthesized sounds, programmed rhythms and samples. Its development from the mid-twentieth century onward relied on synthesizers and drum machines, and by the 1980s its dance-oriented forms had spread widely across the world.

The Lexington, the Los Angeles venue hosting the night, presents concerts and shows, so this electronic program sits within its regular offering of live music. The venue's place in the city's live calendar makes it a fitting setting for electronic music performed before a Los Angeles audience.

The night suits listeners who follow electronic music in live form and want to hear the genre performed in person in Los Angeles. The program is built around the act itself, with the electronic style as its defining musical element.
