Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest is an exhibition in Gurnee, Illinois, built around the Bavarian autumn celebration of the same name. It is presented at Six Flags Great America, which also hosts exhibitions and cultural events.

The subject is Oktoberfest, the autumn festival held in Munich, Germany, since 1810. The exhibition is organized around that Bavarian tradition, and visitors can come during its open period and view it at their own pace.

Six Flags Great America, the theme park in Gurnee, is the venue. Alongside its attractions, the park hosts exhibitions and cultural events, so this exhibition sits within a larger visit rather than in a dedicated museum building.

The exhibition suits visitors interested in German cultural traditions and those already spending a day at the park who want a cultural stop between other activities.
