Olivia O'Brien

An electronic-leaning concert in San Francisco featuring singer-songwriter Olivia O'Brien, with Sophie Cates also on the bill, at August Hall.

Olivia O'Brien is a singer-songwriter whose music is classified here as electronic, with production-driven arrangements built around the vocal. The best-known track in the catalog is "I Hate U, I Love U," a 2017 collaboration with the rapper and producer Gnash, which pairs O'Brien's singing with a beat-based arrangement.

Sophie Cates is also on the bill, so the evening brings two performers together under one program. Listeners who follow electronic-leaning pop and singer-led songwriting will find the two names a direct point of reference for what to expect.

August Hall is a San Francisco venue that hosts concerts and shows, so this date is an option for anyone looking for a live electronic-pop night in the city.
