Outlander in Concert

Outlander in Concert is a film and score concert presenting music from the Outlander television series at the Moore Theatre in Seattle. It is a live performance of the music associated with the show.

The series is adapted from Diana Gabaldon's novels, which follow Claire Randall, a World War II nurse transported from 1945 to eighteenth-century Scotland. Outlander premiered on Starz in 2014, and its score was composed by Bear McCreary, whose work for the show is central to its identity. The concert brings that music to the stage, giving fans of the series a chance to hear it performed live.

The Moore Theatre hosts concerts and shows in Seattle, and this event falls within that programming. It suits viewers who know the series and want to revisit its themes in a concert setting, as well as listeners interested in film and television scores more broadly.

Because the concert is built around a screen production's music, its appeal rests on that connection: a program drawn from a long-running drama, performed for an audience that already follows the story. Anyone curious about how McCreary's writing works outside the episodes can approach the evening as a film score performance.
