Pain of Truth

A hard rock and metal concert in Miami at Lincoln's Beard, with New York hardcore bands Pain of Truth and Madball on the bill. It suits listeners who follow the hardcore scene.

Pain of Truth is an American hardcore band from New York. Their debut album, Not Through Blood, was released in 2023, and it is the band's first full record. The group's sound sits in the hardcore tradition of its home city, with fast, heavy songs built around short, direct arrangements.

Madball, also on the bill, is a New York hardcore band formed in 1988. Its vocalist, Freddy Cricien, has been the group's most recognizable figure since its early years. Madball belongs to the same New York lineage that shaped much of the East Coast hardcore scene, which makes the pairing of the two acts a natural match for this night.

Lincoln's Beard hosts concerts and shows in Miami. The evening is aimed at fans of hard rock and metal, and at anyone interested in New York hardcore played live by two bands from the same scene.
