Overview
Palms Beach Club arrives in San Diego with Green Velvet, Dekmantel Soundsystem, Naone, Max Web, and slugg performing live at EQ San Diego.
Green Velvet is the primary alias of Curtis Jones, a Chicago house and techno producer and DJ who began releasing music in the early 1990s. Jones established the Relief Records and Cajual Records labels and recorded defining club tracks including Perculator and La La Land. Green Velvet's music combines synthesized Chicago house grooves with spoken-word and heavily processed vocal delivery addressing social and personal themes.
Dekmantel Soundsystem is the resident DJ collective associated with the Amsterdam-based electronic music festival and record label Dekmantel. The collective focuses on deep house, techno, and rare disco cuts.
The lineup also features Naone, Max Web, and slugg. The event takes place at EQ San Diego, which hosts concerts and shows in San Diego.
