Paranormal Activity

Paranormal Activity is a horror show staged at the August Wilson Theatre in New York, adapted from the found-footage film series of the same name.

This production brings the Paranormal Activity story to the stage, following a young couple who install cameras in their home after strange events begin to unsettle their daily life. The show belongs to the horror genre and relies on suspense, sound and staging to build tension rather than on spectacle.

In the auditorium, expect a theatrical performance in which the action unfolds on a domestic set, with the audience following the characters'growing unease from their seats. The format draws on the film's central idea of surveillance footage, so the mood is dark and tense throughout.

The show is aimed at adult audiences who enjoy horror and psychological thrillers. The August Wilson Theatre, on West 52nd Street in Midtown Manhattan, is a Broadway house that regularly hosts shows and concerts in New York.
