Plini

Plini brings instrumental hard rock and metal to Seattle for a concert at The Crocodile.

Plini is the moniker of Australian guitarist and composer Plini Roessler-Holt, who launched the project as a bedroom recording endeavor before expanding into a full touring outfit. Active since 2011, the project has released studio albums including Handmade Cities and Impulse Voices, drawing praise from guitar publications and mainstream music critics alike for its intricate fretwork and melodic sensibility. The style blends elements of progressive metal, jazz fusion, and ambient textures, featuring complex time signatures alongside lush, cinematic arrangements.

Live performances typically feature a backing band supporting the lead guitar work with drums, bass, and rhythm guitar, delivering material drawn from the project's catalog of EPs and full-length releases. The Crocodile hosts this performance in Seattle.
