Ricky Martin is a Puerto Rican singer who first gained wide attention as a member of the group Menudo in the 1980s. After leaving the group, Ricky Martin began a solo career in the early 1990s with Spanish-language records. The breakthrough came with the self-titled English-language album Ricky Martin in 1999, which included the single "Livin'la Vida Loca" and brought the artist to a broad international audience.

This concert belongs to the electronic genre and takes place at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, a resort on the Las Vegas Strip that hosts concerts and shows. The venue's programming covers both large-scale music performances and theatrical productions, so the evening suits audiences who follow the artist's pop catalogue and enjoy dance-oriented music.

Ricky Martin's career spans Spanish-language pop, English-language dance-pop and collaborations across genres, which gives the catalogue a wide range of tempos and styles. This visit to Las Vegas offers a chance to hear that body of work performed live in a single evening.
