Rivo

An electronic concert in Los Angeles featuring Rivo and Minus the Light at Sound Nightclub, a venue that hosts concerts and shows in the city.

Rivo is an electronic act, and this concert places its music at the center of the evening, alongside Minus the Light. Electronic music is built largely on synthesizers, drum machines and samplers, which shape both its rhythms and its textures.

Electronic dance music took shape in the late 1970s and 1980s, with Detroit techno and Chicago house among its early scenes. Both styles rely on repetitive beats, though house and techno differ in tempo and sound.

Sound Nightclub hosts concerts and shows in Los Angeles. The evening suits listeners who follow electronic music and want to hear it in a nightclub setting, with Rivo and Minus the Light on the same bill.
