Romare is an electronic act whose music is built on sampling, drawing on soul, jazz and funk records and reshaping them into layered, groove-led productions. Its debut album, Projections, came out in 2011 and laid out the collage-style method that defines the project's sound. The music sits at the meeting point of club production and the sampled records of earlier soul and jazz.

This Los Angeles date at Pacific Electric suits listeners who follow electronic music and sample-based production, and anyone curious to hear these grooves played in a concert setting. Pacific Electric hosts concerts and shows in Los Angeles, so the booking places the project's music in one of the city's regular concert venues.
