Samantha Fish

A concert by Samantha Fish at Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, with Jesse Dayton also on the bill. The music sits in blues, country and folk.

Samantha Fish is an American singer and guitarist whose music draws on the blues, and the project has been active since 2009. Born in Kansas City in 1989, Samantha Fish works in blues rock, a style that combines the blues tradition with the amplified guitar sound of rock. The evening's genre is blues, country and folk, so the material moves between those roots styles.

Jesse Dayton is also credited on this night. The program is built around Samantha Fish's guitar-driven songs, and the pairing of two performers from the Americana and roots scene gives the bill a clear focus on the guitar.

Whisky A Go Go is a venue in West Hollywood that hosts concerts and shows. The night suits listeners who follow blues, country and folk, and anyone interested in guitar-led roots music performed in a club setting on the Sunset Strip.
