Sap

Sap is a pop, rock and indie act performing live at Will's Pub in Orlando, a venue that hosts concerts and shows throughout the city.

Sap plays pop, rock and indie, three styles that often overlap within a single set. Pop contributes melodic hooks and tightly built song structures, rock adds guitar-driven arrangements and a driving rhythm section, and indie points to an independent, guitar-oriented approach to songwriting and recording.

This concert takes place at Will's Pub, a venue in Orlando that hosts concerts and shows, so the evening is a live performance by Sap rather than a recording. The night suits listeners drawn to the crossover between pop melody, rock energy and indie songwriting.

Indie, in this sense, describes music released outside the major-label system, which is where much of the genre's variety comes from. That background helps explain why the mix of pop craft and rock drive often sounds looser and more personal than mainstream radio fare.
