Sean Chambers & Savoy Brown Rhythm Section

A rock concert in Chicago pairing Sean Chambers with the Savoy Brown Rhythm Section, presented at Reggies Bananna's Shack. The bill sits within pop, rock and indie programming.

Sean Chambers and the Savoy Brown Rhythm Section share this bill in Chicago. Savoy Brown was formed in London in 1965, and guitarist and songwriter Kim Simmonds has been its central figure across many lineup changes. The band grew out of the British blues boom of the late 1960s and has released records over several decades, and its name remains the thread connecting this evening.

The bill is rooted in rock, with the Savoy Brown name tying it to blues-based guitar music. Sean Chambers is billed alongside the Rhythm Section, so the night brings together two acts working in the same rock tradition.

Reggies Bananna's Shack is a Chicago venue that hosts concerts and shows, and this booking adds a rock evening to its calendar.
