SoundBox - Open Genre Open Decks

An open-format music night by SoundBox at Jimmy Valentine's Lonely Hearts Club in northeast Washington, D.C., where the music is not limited to one genre.

SoundBox is the name of this event at Jimmy Valentine's Lonely Hearts Club, a venue in northeast Washington, D.C., that hosts concerts and shows. The title, Open Genre Open Decks, describes an open-genre format with open decks, so the evening is not confined to a single musical style.

The format suits listeners who want to hear several styles in one evening, as well as those interested in DJ-led sessions. Because the night is open to different genres, the music can move from one style to another over the course of the evening. Jimmy Valentine's Lonely Hearts Club hosts concerts and shows in NE Washington, and this night is one of its live music events.
