The California Honeydrops

A San Francisco concert at The Fillmore by The California Honeydrops, a blues, country and folk act, with Lindsay Lou, Jimmy James and Mae Powell also on the bill.

The California Honeydrops are a blues, country and folk act from the San Francisco Bay Area. Their music draws on the shared roots of these styles, bringing together blues phrasing, country melodies and acoustic folk songwriting within one band sound. The project's name is the title under which this evening is presented, and its genre places it among roots-oriented acts that build their performances around song and groove.

Lindsay Lou, Jimmy James and Mae Powell are also on the bill, so the evening brings several voices from the same blues, country and folk territory into a single program. Each act is presented alongside the others, which makes the night suited to listeners who follow roots music and want to hear several artists in one outing.

The Fillmore is a concert and show venue in San Francisco, and this performance is part of its regular calendar of live music. For anyone deciding whether to attend, the lineup and the genre offer a clear picture of the musical direction of the evening.
