The Infinite Wrench

The Infinite Wrench is a stand-up and comedy show performed by the San Francisco Neo-Futurists at their own venue in San Francisco. It is built around a timed run of short plays that the audience helps select.

The Infinite Wrench is a comedy show in which the San Francisco Neo-Futurists perform thirty very short plays against the clock, completing the sequence in under sixty minutes. The pieces are chosen by the audience during the evening, so the order and content follow the room's choices rather than a fixed script. The material ranges from personal and political pieces to absurd ones, and the plays draw on the performers'own lived experiences.

The format is quick and direct: each play is brief, and the pace stays high from one piece to the next. Audience members take an active part in shaping the evening, which makes the show interactive rather than a traditional sit-back performance. The stage work is carried by the performers themselves, who handle every change of tone within the same hour.

The show is presented at the San Francisco Neo-Futurists'venue, a space that also hosts concerts and other shows. It suits anyone who enjoys sketch-style comedy, rapid-fire theater, and work that moves between the funny and the serious.
