The Museum of Modern Art

A visiting period at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) on West 53rd Street in Midtown Manhattan, centered on contemporary art drawn from the museum's permanent collection.

The display presents works from The Museum of Modern Art's permanent collection, with a focus on contemporary art. Visitors move through the galleries at their own pace and can look closely at paintings, sculptures, photographs, prints and installations from the museum's holdings, with the museum's curators guiding how the works are arranged.

The Museum of Modern Art, known as MoMA, is a museum in Midtown Manhattan at 11 West 53rd Street. It is one of the city's major venues for modern and contemporary art, and this display draws on its own collection rather than on works lent for a single show.

The display suits contemporary art lovers who want to follow recent artistic practices, as well as visitors who are new to the field and wish to see a broad range of media in one place. Because it is a permanent collection display, people can come whenever they like while the galleries are open and return on other visits to see how the arrangement changes.
