Vagabond

Vagabond, a Washington, D.C. venue for concerts and shows, hosts this world music evening featuring the acts AJAMU and nonchalant.

This concert pairs AJAMU and nonchalant under the world music heading, a category that groups music shaped by traditions from across Africa, Asia, Latin America and other regions beyond the mainstream Anglo-American pop tradition. Both acts share the bill, so audiences hear two distinct musical voices in one evening.

Vagabond hosts concerts and shows in Washington, D.C., and this booking places the program there. The evening suits listeners who follow world music and want to compare two artists working in that field, rather than a single headliner. It is also a practical way to explore the range of the genre in one outing.
