Viano and the Wave

Viano and the Wave is a blues, country and folk act performing a concert in Chicago at Reggies Music Joint, a venue that hosts concerts and shows in the city.

Viano and the Wave is an act rooted in blues, country and folk, three traditions that share their origins in American song. Blues contributes its twelve-bar structures and emotional directness, country adds narrative lyrics and steady rhythms, and folk brings melodies handed down through oral tradition. Chicago has a long association with electric blues, which makes the city a fitting place to hear the genre live.
