Overview
A Chicago bill at Cobra Lounge pairing Whores, an Atlanta noise rock band formed in 2010, with Daundry and Salvation.
Whores is an American noise rock band from Atlanta, formed in 2010, and its music works within noise rock and sludge metal. The band's first album, Gold., was released in 2016.
Noise rock emphasizes abrasive guitar textures and feedback, while sludge metal slows heavy riffs to a dense, low tempo. Together the two genres form the core of the band's sound, which is the reference point for anyone deciding whether this bill suits them.
Daundry and Salvation share the bill with Whores at Cobra Lounge, a Chicago venue that hosts concerts and shows. For listeners drawn to noise rock and sludge metal, the night offers a chance to hear Whores live, alongside two other acts on the same stage.
