About — The artist
Kirsten Azan, known as BAMBII, is a Jamaican-Canadian DJ and producer based in Toronto. She made a name for herself through Toronto's club scene. In June 2023, she performed at Melbourne's Rising festival. Around that time, Pitchfork described her as a queer club innovator, placing her electrifying, rave-ready tracks at the crossroads of jungle, dancehall, drum'n'bass and UK garage.
Infinity Club was released on 4 August 2023. The record received four stars out of five from NME and was among the nominees for the 2024 Polaris Music Prize. The EP also won the Juno Award for Electronic Album of the Year at the 2024 Juno Awards.
