About — The artist
Fear Factory [fɪəɹ ˈfæktəɹi] are an American industrial metal band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 1990, Fear Factory drew their influence from the heavy metal scene of the mid-to-late 1990s. In March 2002, the band split following a conflict between its members, but later reformed without founding member and guitarist Dino Cazares. His place was taken by former bassist Christian Olde Wolbers, who was himself replaced in his previous role by Byron Stroud. In September 2020, singer Burton C. Bell officially announced his departure from the band following legal disputes with the other members of the line-up.
