About — The artist
Madra Salach (meaning “Dirty Dog” in English) is a contemporary Irish folk group based in Dublin, founded in 2023. It was formed by founding members Paul Banks, Adam Cullen and Dara Duffy, who were then performing in several venues across Dublin's Northside. Three additional members, Maxime Arnold, Jack Lawlor and Jack Martin, complete the group, which now numbers six musicians.
Madra Salach has played at several festivals, including All Together Now and Electric Picnic, as well as at other concerts. In January 2026 the group released its first EP, It's a Hell of an Age.
