About — The artist
System Of A Down invented a form of metal like no other: furious riffs, Armenian melodies, absurdist humour and political anger. Carried by the vocal duo of Serj Tankian and Daron Malakian, the Californian group defined the 2000s with "Toxicity" (2001) and anthems such as "Chop Suey!", "Aerials" and "B.Y.O.B.". Now rare, their tours trigger tidal waves of demand: every Paris-region date is played in the biggest venues, to sold-out crowds.
