Tarsius

This show is an invitation to reflect on issues that are often difficult for us to address, such as mental health, youth suicide, and guilt. Using the metaphor of tarsiers—small primates that self-harm when they feel caged—the play presents six young people with very different realities who try to survive in a dehumanised and absurd world. Despite being almost strangers to each other, when they reach their limit, they unite in a common cry for survival. It is a poignant theatrical proposal that seeks to give visibility to the issues facing the current generation, breaking taboos in an attempt to understand that which sometimes cannot be said. Please note that the production contains scenes that may wound sensibilities and includes the use of strobe lighting.
