Overview
Balaam and the Angel bring their post-punk rock to Bush Hall for a live performance in London.
Formed in the early 1980s by brothers Mark Morris, Jim Morris and Des Morris, Balaam and the Angel relocated from Scotland to the English Midlands. Taking their moniker from an Old Testament tale, the trio developed a sound blending lean post-punk with psychedelic undercurrents, releasing early material through their own Chapter 22 Records before signing with Virgin Records. Their output includes the debut album The Greatest Story Ever Told and singles such as She Knows, alongside supporting tours with peers like The Cult during the mid-1980s.
Bush Hall on Uxbridge Road hosts the performance. The venue welcomes audiences for evening concerts in West London.
