Celebrating Joy Division: 50th Anniversary
Celebrating Joy Division: 50th Anniversary: on Wednesday 2 December 2026 at 19:00, at The Blues Kitchen, Manchester (M3 3HN Manchester), from £17. Tickets available.
Checked on 26 October 2026.
Overview
This December, we celebrate 50 years of the legendary MCR band, Joy Division.
From the stark, hypnotic sound of Unknown Pleasures to the anthems that defined a generation, Joy Division created something darker, stranger and entirely their own, reshaping the sound of post-punk. Five decades on, their music still feels as poignant as ever.
Their greatest tracks will be brought to life by a full live band, with reimagined renditions of classics including 'Love Will Tear Us Apart', 'Transmission', 'She's Lost Control', 'Disorder'& more.
