Shane Daniel Byrne: Baby This Time

A stand-up comedy show by Irish comedian Shane Daniel Byrne, presented at the Leicester Square Theatre in London, built around the comedian's own take on friends starting families.

Baby This Time is a stand-up comedy show by Irish comedian Shane Daniel Byrne. Its material centres on the comedian's own situation: while most of Shane's friends are having children, Shane is enjoying the good times, and the show asks whether that choice is as wrong as it might seem. The production is described as the most personal show Shane has given to date.

Expect an hour of stand-up that moves quickly and mixes jokes with more heartfelt passages. The tone sits between observational humour and candid reflection on a subject that many audiences will recognise from their own circles.

Reviewers quoted by the production include Tommy Tiernan, who wrote that Shane storms a room, and David O'Doherty, who called Shane his favourite new Irish comedian for many years. The Irish Examiner also named Shane a favourite. The show takes place at Leicester Square Theatre, a London venue that hosts a range of shows.
