Overview

Alison's Halo was formed in 1992 in Tempe, Arizona. The band is associated with shoegaze and dream pop, a style built on dreamy vocals and spacious guitars. Their sound places them within the lineage of those genres, which rose in the late 1980s and early 1990s and emphasised texture and layered guitar sound over conventional rock structure.
Bug Teeth is also on the bill, with the listing presenting the concert as a night of two acts. The programme for the evening is shared between the two bands, so audiences interested in the headline act can expect Alison's Halo to feature alongside this support.
Oslo Hackney hosts concerts and shows in London, and this evening is one of its live music events. The venue is a suitable choice for listeners who follow dream pop and shoegaze, a style that fits the band's guitar-led approach.
