Overview
Allah-Las are an American rock band from Los Angeles, playing a concert at Islington Assembly Hall in London. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2012.
Allah-Las formed in Los Angeles in 2008 and released their self-titled debut album in 2012. Their music is described as resisting easy categorisation, rooted in feel rather than nostalgia, with an atmospheric sound in which the storytelling is often largely instrumental, even when words are sung. The band's focus lies on tone, pacing and space rather than spectacle.
This concert takes place at Islington Assembly Hall, a London venue that hosts concerts and shows. The evening will appeal to listeners interested in atmospheric rock and indie music who want to hear a band concentrating on tone and pacing rather than visual display.
